Dancing With the Stars performer Stephani Sosa has shared candid details of her recent liposuction procedure in a TikTok video. The dancer, who is also the sister of DWTS cast member Ezra Sosa, described her choice as a personal and professional investment.
Why She Chose 360 Lipo
In the video, Sosa explained she underwent 360 lipo, a comprehensive technique that removes fat from the abdomen, sides and back. She said the surgery took place about a year and a half ago.
“I just wanted to get in shape and I’ve been working my whole life to get the body I dreamed of,” she said. “I was tired of the industry telling me what my body should look like… I needed to work on it for myself.”
She noted that her time on DWTS, combined with a strict workout and clean-eating regimen, had already helped slim her figure—but she wanted more precise contours for her Latin dance career.
Recovery Was “Very, Very Painful”
Sosa described her recovery as lasting six to eight weeks. She admitted the process was “very, very painful” but worth the result.
“They take the fat cells from the areas where I don’t want them and put it where I want them,” she explained of her fat infusion. “So if I gain weight again, the fat will go to those specific areas.”
Maintaining Her New Shape
Since surgery, Sosa continues to train with a personal trainer and follows a clean diet. She credited this combination for her lasting results.
“My body has completely changed,” she said. “It’s all a combination of that surgery, the personal training, and a relatively clean diet. It’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. My confidence and my happiness have both soared.”

The dancer closed her TikTok by inviting followers to ask questions.
“I want to be very honest with you guys because I love you guys,” she said, promising to respond openly to any inquiries about her experience.
