Rachael Ray Faced Plastic Surgery Rumors

by Alice

Celebrity chef and TV host Rachael Ray has long been the subject of tabloid gossip. Stories have claimed she had plastic surgery, including a brow lift. Ray has always denied these rumors. She addressed them directly on her talk show, Rachael Ray, saying the stories made her laugh.

Talk Show Confessions

Ray often invites Dr. Anthony Youn, a board-certified plastic surgeon, to discuss cosmetic procedures. In 2010, Dr. Youn taught viewers how to spot signs of surgery. Before that segment, Ray cleared up the rumors about herself. “Someone said I had a brow lift,” she told the audience. She added that if she ever took time off for a procedure, it would be “my butt, not my forehead.”

Embracing the Joke

The brow lift rumor dates back many years. In 2008, Ray spoke with Extra about the gossip. She said she enjoyed the joke and once again denied having surgery. “If I had a week off, do you think I would have done it?” she asked.

Work Ethic and New Podcast

In 2024, Ray launched a podcast called I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead. The show caters to food lovers and reflects her energetic work style. In a January interview with People, Ray joked that she is a “serial workaholic.” She said she starts her day at 3 a.m. and rarely rests. Ray quipped that once she finally retires, she might consider that Brazilian butt lift—though she still insists she doesn’t need it.
