The Grammy – winning artist, whose real name is Amala Dlamini, had headlined the music festival, thrilling fans with energetic renditions of her popular tracks such as “Tia Tamera,” “Need To Know,” “Say So,” “Get Into It (Yuh),” and “Lose My Mind.” She even gave a special treat to her audience by debuting her new song “Crack” live, a track that had been available for download for just 24 hours on May 5.
On the red carpet, Doja Cat looked vibrant and self – assured in an aquamarine dress. But after the show, she took to social media to confront what seemed to be a breast implant complication. In a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), she pleaded, “Don’t clock my contracted implant it’s all I ask.” The comment appeared to refer to capsular contracture, a well – known potential risk of breast implants where the scar tissue around the implant hardens and tightens.
Unfortunately, instead of support, Doja Cat was met with a wave of mean – spirited comments from some fans. One person wrote, “It was noticeable you’re botched,” while another chimed in with “Lumpy implants.” A third critic questioned, “If your breast implants are messed up, why would you wear a dress that highlights that.” This isn’t the first time Doja has been open about her cosmetic procedures. In 2023, she shared that she had undergone breast augmentation and liposuction.
Looking ahead, the rapper is focused on her music career. During an appearance on Los Angeles’ 102.7 KIIS FM, she talked about her upcoming fifth studio album, “Vie.” Doja expressed her excitement about embracing the vibes of the 1970s and 1980s, stating, “I’m really punching my foot through the wall into that situation. I want to really fully encapsulate that time and still give it some modern twists here and there.”
