A Reddit post asked whether YouTuber and actor Bhuvan Bam had undergone plastic surgery. The post shared “before and after” photos and claimed he looked completely different. It read, “Did Bhuvan Bam have any surgery? Plastic surgery—doctors can give you what God can’t. So did he have any surgery? He looks totally different now. Please don’t say it’s diet and aging. Hahaha don’t take us for fools.”
Bhuvan Bam’s Response
Bhuvan Bam saw the Reddit post and replied to clear up rumors. He explained that his facial changes were due to a strict workout routine and diet, not cosmetic surgery. “Hi doston, it’s great to see comments about my ‘plastic surgery,’” he wrote. He added that he noticed changes in his face himself but insisted those came from exercise and diet.
Fitness and Diet Regime
Bam said he spent 60 minutes on cardio and 60 minutes on strength training each day. He also followed a strict diet. “Trust me, the results are really great,” he wrote. He noted that the “before” photo was almost ten years old, so natural aging and fitness improvements also played a part.
Minor Lip Surgery Explained
Bhuvan Bam admitted he did have one minor procedure on his lip, but it was not cosmetic. He developed a painful abscess, known as a “mucocele,” on his lip. He said he removed it because he had a show to prepare for and needed to maintain his appearance. “I had to remove it because I had a show to prepare for and had to maintain a certain look,” he wrote. He added, “But thanks for your advice, it’s just ‘andhere mein लठ ghumaana.’ Take care everyone. Lots of love.”

Earlier this year, Bam shared a gym selfie and wrote, “Kaam jaari kyunki kaam bhaari (The work goes on because it’s heavy).” In March, he posted another update with multiple reflections on his life, including adjusting to his new look, having surgery, and taking his dog Dixie for a walk.

On the work front, Bhuvan Bam was last seen in the Disney+ Hotstar series Taaza Khabar Season 2 in September 2024. In his Reddit response, he hinted that he would be part of several big projects yet to be announced.
