Demi Engemann, 30, best known from Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, has confirmed she underwent a nose job. In an Instagram Stories post on June 8, Engemann shared before-and-after photos and thanked board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. John Bittner. She explained that a small bump on her nose “drove me crazy” and prompted her to seek a partial rhinoplasty. “He did an amazing job,” she wrote.
Earlier Breast Augmentation Journey
Engemann has been open about her cosmetic changes before. Last March, she posted a TikTok video showing her bandaged chest after breast augmentation surgery. She captioned the clip, “Your plastic surgeon gave you perfect boobs and told your husband not to touch them for two weeks.” Engemann later revealed she chose 385cc implants. Her husband, former football player Brett Engemann, has supported her through recovery.
Co-Stars Share Their Cosmetic Stories
Engemann is not alone in her openness on the show. Co-star Layla Taylor, 23, told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast that she may be the “most obsessed” cast member with cosmetic procedures. Since season one, Taylor has had six treatments, including breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, a tummy tuck, lip and chin fillers, and Botox. She said these changes helped restore confidence after her divorce and as a mother of two. In May, Taylor added she might remove or reduce her breast implants to suit her lifestyle better.
Botox and Laughing Gas on Screen
The series also stirred buzz over a Botox scene set to laughing gas. During the premiere, cast member Macy Neely, 30, jokingly asked, “Can’t I get high for free? It’s not against the rules.” She added she had never used laughing gas during Botox but was “going to try it today just for fun.”
