Lindsay Lohan has firmly shut down recent rumors suggesting she has undergone plastic surgery. In a new interview with Elle magazine, the actress responded candidly to speculation about her appearance, which has intensified since her return to acting in 2022.
The Freaky Friday star, now preparing for the sequel Freakier Friday, shared her thoughts during a conversation with Saturday Night Live comedian Chloe Fineman.
Fineman Praises Lohan’s Radiance
During the interview, Fineman praised Lohan’s appearance, calling her “radiant” and an inspiration.
“I feel like mothers are portrayed terribly in the media, and you’re the complete opposite,” Fineman said. “You’re radiant, glowing, alive—and the world is obsessed with it. It’s such an inspiration to all of us.”
Publicist Rejects Facelift Claims
At that point, Lohan’s publicist addressed the growing speculation.
“Yeah, but you know what the problem with beauty is?” the publicist said. “She changes a little bit and people think she’s 37, 38 and had a facelift and ripped this thing off and that thing off. That’s so mean.”
Lohan Laughs Off the Rumors
Lohan herself seemed surprised by the rumors and denied any such procedures.
“I was like, when?” she said. “When? Where?”
Her publicist supported her statement, saying, “Yeah, Linds, I was trying to figure out everything you’ve been doing for the last three years because I know your schedule. So the haters can be jealous and hate you. It’s messed up how they treat women in today’s world. Women can’t just look good for the sake of looking good and then change their lifestyle to be healthier.”
“You just have to do it and ignore everybody else,” Lohan replied.
Lohan Shares Her Beauty Routine
Earlier in the interview, Lohan offered details about her beauty regimen, which she said focuses on wellness and skincare rather than cosmetic procedures.
“I drink this juice every morning. It’s got carrots, ginger, lemon, olive oil, and apples in it,” she shared. “I also drink a lot of green tea and water. I’m a big fan of pickled beets, so I put that in pretty much everything.”
She also emphasized her focus on skincare.
“I’m very particular about my skincare,” she said. “I’m trying out some serums right now—I’m testing them.”
She added, “Also, I’m a big believer in ice water when I wake up. I drink lemon juice a lot; I also put a lot of chia seeds in my water. I do an eye mask every morning. I’m also into lasers.”
Motherhood Sparked Changes to Her Routine
Lohan explained that her beauty journey evolved significantly after becoming a mother in July 2023.
“After I had my son, my skin changed. It became very sensitive,” she revealed. “That led me to completely change my routine, my diet, everything. I did a blood test and thought, ‘I wonder what I’m allergic to.’ So I cut out all the allergens, and everything changed for me from that point on.”
Lohan and her husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed their son Luai last summer.
