The Bioplastic Surgery Clinic officially started operations in Bangladesh on Sunday, coinciding with World Mother’s Day.
National Film Award-winning actor Bidya Sinha Saha Mim was the guest of honor at the inaugural branch of the surgery clinic located at 6 Kamal Ataturk Avenue in Banani area of the capital.
Filmmaker and director of the Bangladesh branch Saqib Sonnet and popular YouTuber Salman Muktadir also attended the ceremony.
Mim expressed excitement about being part of the event and said, “There is a real need for such a Bioplastic Surgery Clinic in our country. Finally, the clinic has started its journey in Bangladesh, considering the needs of our people. I sincerely thank all those who have been involved in this project, as now we don’t have to go abroad to get this service.”
Moinul Islam is the general manager of the Bioplastic Surgery Clinic. Professor Bidan Sarkar, head of the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery at Dhaka Medical College, is the chief consultant of the Bangladesh branch, while Dr. Shin Yong-ho is the director of the Bangladesh branch.
