Chrissy Teigen is always keeping it real, whether it’s sharing unedited bikini pics or opening up about the plastic surgery she’s had. The model and social media personality previously revealed that she had breast implants removed in 2008. On Tuesday, she showed fans her scars from surgery while preparing for a “very rare” date with John Legend.
In a short video shared on her Instagram Story, Teigen opened up to fans about her “boobs and scars showing” in a low-cut black dress that almost came down to her navel. The Cravings: All Together author showed off different angles of her sexy LBD in a selfie video as she headed out of town with her husband, saying, “Date nights are rare but they do happen.”
Teigen also spoke about her scars from plastic surgery, revealing that she chose to cover them up with a black silk slip dress paired with a gold body chain.
“With a body chain, it helps with some coverage,” she added. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit beauty styled her ombré hair into loose waves and accessorized with smoky eyes and nude lipstick, which perfectly matched her date night outfit.
This isn’t the first time Teigen has opened up about having breast augmentation surgery. Previously, she revealed that she had “three breast augmentations” during a game of “The Lives Have It” on the Jan. 29 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. The lifestyle entrepreneur later clarified to Cohen and Below Deck’s Kate Chastain:
“I’ve had breast implants, put in, and removed,” she said. “I don’t like the removal. I feel like you can never get them back, and now no one knows about it.”
However, the star clearly has no shame about the plastic surgery, sharing a sexy photo in a sheer corset dress back in March to call attention to her post-surgery scars.
While Teigen has been open about her regrets about breast implants, telling British Glamour in 2020 that she was “ripped off” after having children, the famously outspoken star revealed in a September 2021 Instagram Story that she’s a fan of another cosmetic procedure.
“I had a buccal fat pad removal by Dr. Diamond,” she said at the time, while showing off her new look. “It’s definitely noticeable and I love it. I have no shame in having Dr. Diamond.”
