Lauren Goodger, the 38-year-old star of The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE), is turning heads once again as she shares stunning Instagram snaps showcasing her curvaceous figure. Currently filming the new TOWIE series in Portugal with her co-stars, Lauren flaunted her sculpted cleavage in a low-cut swimsuit, captioning the post: “Sun-kissed, salty hair.”
Embracing Her Natural Look After Breast Implant Removal
In recent weeks, Lauren opened up about a major personal change — having her “heavy” breast implants removed. The reality TV personality admitted on Instagram that although her breasts were “perfect” before, they eventually made her look bigger than she wanted.
Lauren candidly shared:
“I had breast implants 11 years ago and it’s one of the things I’ve since regretted. I had perfect breasts… they’ve been great over the years but since becoming a mum and breastfeeding for a year they’ve changed, and I’ve always found they made me look bigger!”
She explained that the implants were heavy and she missed her natural breasts, which motivated her to find a surgeon she trusted, marksolomos, to help her with the removal.
“This is a huge step for me,” Lauren wrote. “I wanted to have them removed a long time ago but going through the anxiety of surgery was the last thing I could do! It’s still early days but I’m with you! I’m terrified but for health reasons I’m going to have my implants removed and go back to normal and hopefully natural again.”
Balancing Motherhood and Career
Despite her fears and challenges, Lauren has remained strong, even as she faced the anxiety of leaving her daughter LaRose for the first time since she was born. Lauren shared a heartfelt moment on Instagram Stories about her mixed emotions when traveling to Portugal for filming.
“5am on my way to the airport. I haven’t done this in over five years! I had mixed feelings. I was so proud of myself because I had been up all night thinking if I should just say goodbye… When I hugged my baby it felt like I had been kissing her all night. She’s almost 4 and I’ve never left her or done anything for her.”
Lauren expressed gratitude toward her TOWIE family for their support during this time and promised fans she would soon share the tools and advice that helped her reach this point in her life.
TOWIE’s Lavish 15th Anniversary Filming in Portugal
The cast is currently filming the new TOWIE series in the sunny Algarve region of Portugal to celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary. The production reportedly cost £150,000 and features over 95 crew members, making it one of the largest international shoots in the show’s history.
The team is based at the luxurious five-star Westin Algarve resort, which will serve as the backdrop for many exciting scenes. Producers carefully scouted the best beach clubs, bars, and party spots to create an unforgettable experience for fans. Portugal’s sunny weather and proximity to the UK — just a short 2.5-hour flight — made it the ideal filming location.
