Utilizing a polyphenol complex, the shampoo forms a protective film around hair strands and demonstrated impressive clinical results: a 19.22% increase in hair thickness and an 87.27% boost in hair volume after a single use. Gravity plans to expand aggressively into Asia’s premium market segment.
Korea Intellectual Property Office Engages with Digital Health Innovators

Gwangju National Science Museum to Host Aerospace Culture Week
From May 27 to June 1, the Gwangju National Science Museum will host special events in conjunction with its “2025 Space Science Special Exhibition – Beyond the Earth.” Activities include space-themed quizzes, a Korea Space Tour paper-rolling contest, and merchandise giveaways. Invention Day Celebrated with Unique Product Distribution
To mark the 60th Invention Day, the Korea Invention Promotion Association held a product giveaway on May 19 outside the Korea Intellectual Property Center in Gangnam. The first featured item was “Carbon Olleung,” a sparkling beverage made from volcanic seawater from Jeju Island. 100 Million Won Donated to KAIST Song Challenge
KAIST alumnus and former alumni president Lim Hyung-kyu donated 100 million won to fund prizes for the university’s annual School Song and National Anthem Challenge starting in 2026. Participants can perform the KAIST anthem, Korea’s national anthem, or original pieces. The competition offers significant recognition, including a Presidential Award and cash prizes.
Seminar Explores Human–Non-Human Relationships
The Institute for Basic Science will hold a public seminar on May 24 in Seoul under the theme “The Age of Entanglement: Symbiosis with Non-Humans.” As part of a cross-disciplinary study, the event will feature presentations by physicists, cultural researchers, and philosophers who will discuss the role and implications of “non-humans” in contemporary science and society.
