Gia Giudice recently shared that she has “no regrets” about getting a nose job. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s daughter spoke candidly about her decision and her journey with plastic surgery during an interview with Access Hollywood.
Gia revealed, “I’ve always been really insecure about my nose. So when I finally came out to my mom, she was so shocked. She couldn’t believe that I was actually insecure about my nose.” However, Teresa’s initial reaction was less than supportive. Gia recalled, “When I got my nose done, she was like, ‘Oh, that’s really bad.’ And I was like, ‘Okay, thank you!’”
Gia Credits Her Surgeon and Calls the Procedure Life-Changing
Gia underwent rhinoplasty in late 2020 and shared before-and-after photos on Instagram, proudly showing the results. She credits Dr. Geoffrey Tobias, a New Jersey-based plastic surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty, for her transformation.
Dr. Tobias posted a slideshow on Instagram on April 17 titled “Gia’s Profile Transformation,” explaining, “The results are subtle, natural, and work well with her face shape. Four years later, her nose looks amazing!”
Gia agreed, calling the nose job “the best decision of my life.”
Clearing Up Misconceptions About Other Procedures
Gia also addressed rumors about other cosmetic procedures. She expressed surprise over the speculation since she has been transparent about what she’s had done. “Honestly, I’ve been very open about it and I feel like my fans and viewers know,” she said.
She clarified, “I’ve never touched my lips. I’ve had a little Botox on my forehead and my frown lines, but nothing else, except my nose.” Gia emphasized her honesty with viewers, adding, “The real viewers know.”
Teresa Giudice’s Own Plastic Surgery Journey
Gia’s mother, Teresa Giudice, has also been open about her cosmetic surgeries. She had her first breast augmentation in 2008, followed by a second about a decade later. Teresa confirmed she has had lip augmentation, Botox, and a nose job as well.
At the 2021 New Jersey Ultimate Girl Expo, Teresa shared details about her rhinoplasty and revealed that she and Gia used the same surgeon, Dr. Tobias. “I did get a tip job, and I was so nervous,” she told the audience. “I went to Dr. Tobias in Englewood, New Jersey. He’s amazing.”
Teresa also recalled how her now-husband, Louis “Louie” Ruelas, supported her decision:
“I asked Louie, ‘Honey, should I get a nose job?’ And he said, ‘Does this make you feel better?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ So he said, ‘Go ahead.’”
