Molly Sims’S Skin-Care Brand For Busy Women Launches At Sephora

Molly Sims doesn’t hold back when it comes to skincare advice. During a recent appearance on What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the 51-year-old model and actress urged her friend Lisa Barlow to reconsider CO₂ laser hair removal. Sims warned that the treatment can strip away up to 17 layers of the skin barrier, leading to premature aging. “If you strip away that barrier every day, you’re going to look older,” she said. “I’ve seen it countless times.”

YSE Beauty: Skincare Rooted in Science and Clinical Trials

Protecting and strengthening the skin barrier is the cornerstone of Sims’s skincare brand, YSE Beauty. Launched in 2023, the line targets women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond. Its flagship products—Your Favorite Ex Peel Pads and Morning Cocktail Vitamin C Serum—are backed by clinical trials from day one. Next month, YSE Beauty will roll out at Sephora stores nationwide.

Sims built YSE Beauty out of her own struggles with adult acne and melasma. She found most products either too harsh or ineffective. “I wanted something affordable, gentle, and results-driven,” she explained. YSE’s “cocktails” combine actives in one step to simplify routines and reduce irritation. “I want to make women’s lives easier,” Sims said.

Engaging Community Through Podcast Conversations

Beyond products, YSE Beauty extends its ethos through Lipstick on the Rim, Sims’s podcast co-hosted with Emese Gormley. They interview experts on topics like Botox, chemical versus physical exfoliation, and more. “It’s about giving tools to women who feel underserved,” Sims said. “We do it with a sense of humor.”

YSE’s most recent launch, the Wide Awake Eye Cream, came directly from community requests. Sims spent three years asking women what they wanted in an eye cream—and what stopped them from using one. The result is a formula that brightens, reduces puffiness, and fights fine lines without an unpleasant scent or texture. It sold out within a week of release.
