British YouTube star Danielle Mansutti, 30, is suing Harley Street plastic surgeon Dr. Domenico Mileto for £1.7 million. She alleges that implants he recommended were too large for her petite frame, causing severe pain, muscle damage, scarring, and ending her influencer career.
Mansutti’s Surgery Timeline
December 2020: First breast augmentation to go from a 34B to a C/D cup.
January 2021: Revision surgery after her left breast began to sag and her nipple pointed outward.
May 2021: Third operation when the sagging returned.
After these three procedures, Mansutti says she developed a tear in her left pectoral muscle and suffered lasting damage. She paid for a final surgery in May 2021 to remove her implants entirely.
Allegations Against Dr. Mileto
Mansutti’s legal team argues that:
Implants Were Oversized
She tested implants from 350 cc to 400 cc. Although she preferred smaller sizes, Dr. Mileto urged her to choose 400 cc, claiming the implants would “fall out” or “shrink” over time.
Lack of Proper Advice
She says she was not informed of the risks that a 400 cc implant posed to her soft tissue, skin, and pectoral muscles given her size 8 frame.
Muscle Damage and Scarring
A third surgeon found that her left pectoral muscle had detached from the sternum. She now lives with pain, extensive scarring, and asymmetrical breasts.
Career Impact
Mansutti says the physical and emotional toll forced her to leave the UK, stop working as an influencer, and abandon her 1.6 million–subscriber YouTube channel. She claims £1.4 million in lost social media income alone.
Dr. Mileto’s Defense
Dr. Mileto denies any wrongdoing. His lawyer states that:
Mansutti requested the 400 cc size, even providing a photo of her desired look.
He offered her the chance to try on multiple implant sizes and to return for further consultation if unsure.
He maintains that a 400 cc implant was anatomically appropriate and that he need not have warned of potential muscle effects.
Next Steps
The High Court has scheduled a five-day trial to examine disputes over:
Informed Consent
Implant Size and Suitability
Alleged Surgical Negligence
Career Losses and Damages
Experts likely to testify include an employment specialist, a psychiatrist, and a breast surgeon. The court will decide whether Mansutti’s claim of £1.7 million is justified.
