Pakistani actor Alizeh Shah has finally responded to widespread rumors on social media claiming she underwent plastic surgery. Known for her fashion sense and active social media presence, Shah’s changing appearance has once again sparked heated discussions online.
In a video that went viral, Shah firmly denied the allegations. She explained that her look has naturally evolved over time.
“Please, for God’s sake! I have not done any plastic surgery, don’t bother me,” she said. “I just lost some weight, so I look different. I was 17 years old when I shot Ehd-e-Wafa. Everyone on the sets knew it was my mother who signed the contract for me because I didn’t even have an ID at the time.”
Shah emphasized the natural process of growing up, adding, “How can you expect someone to look the same after six years? I’m 23 now, how can I look 17?”
Impact of Social Media Criticism on Shah’s Well-Being
The actor has often requested privacy to handle the criticism of her personal choices. In April, Shah opened up about the negative effects of constant online trolling on her mental and physical health.
In a heartfelt Instagram Stories post, she wrote:
“The trolls, constant criticism, and negativity have not only hurt me emotionally, but are now affecting my physical health. It has reached a point where I have no choice but to completely isolate myself from not only social media but everyone around me.”
Public Reaction and Continued Discussion
Despite her clear denial, the debate about Shah’s appearance remains active on social platforms. Fans and critics continue to voice opinions, making it difficult for the young star to escape the spotlight.
As she navigates this challenging period, Shah’s message calls for more empathy and understanding from her followers and the media.
