Be Clinical Secures Rs 2 Cr for Anti – Ageing Growth and In – House Setup?

Mumbai – A notable development in the Indian skincare industry has emerged as Be Clinical, a science – led startup, has successfully raised Rs 2 crore in a seed funding round. The investment was spearheaded by early – stage firm Titan Capital, with Aditya Agarwal, the founder of artisanal brassware brand P – Tal, also participating. This influx of capital is set to play a crucial role in the startup’s growth plans.

Founded by Hemangi Dhir, Be Clinical is targeting the burgeoning segment of Indian Gen Z and Millennial consumers. These younger demographics are increasingly seeking evidence – based skincare solutions. Dhir’s motivation to launch the brand stemmed from her personal experiences with conventional skincare products that failed to meet her expectations. “Anti – ageing has often been treated as an afterthought, but at Be Clinical, it’s our primary focus,” Dhir stated. She further expressed her optimism, adding, “We’re building a brand that addresses a real and growing need – especially among Indian Gen Z and Millennial consumers, who are now seeking targeted, effective solutions earlier in their skincare journey. I feel incredibly optimistic about the future and confident that Be Clinical will set a new standard for science – first, results – driven skincare in India.”

The startup’s approach is centered around medical – grade formulations designed to combat the early signs of ageing. By blending nature – based ingredients with dermatological science, Be Clinical aims to offer unique products. Operating on a direct – to – consumer model, the company plans to use the new funds to internalize its manufacturing operations. This move will enable Be Clinical to have more control over inventory, product quality, and its proprietary formulations. Titan Capital’s spokesperson explained their investment decision, saying, “We invested in Be Clinical because it sits at the intersection of science and self – care. What truly stood out was the founder’s deep understanding of the modern skincare consumer – not just what they buy, but why.” Looking ahead, Be Clinical intends to diversify into additional anti – ageing categories, including preventive and corrective skincare. The goal is to build a long – term, trust – based relationship with digitally native consumers who are increasingly demanding targeted and clinically backed beauty products.
