Christina Hough, star of Flip or Flop and Christina on the Coast, has openly discussed her decision to get breast implants. In 2022, she told Us Weekly that she had experienced unexplained health issues for years and wondered if her implants played a role. “Has anyone else had experience with this?” she asked her followers. A month later, Hough confirmed to E! News that she planned to have her implants removed.
Under-Eye Filler Reaction and Future Plans
Hough has also tried less invasive treatments. She posted on Instagram Stories (via People) that a recent under-eye filler left her with severe swelling that would not subside. She resolved to dissolve the filler and vowed never to repeat the procedure. However, she remains open to Botox. “I’m 40,” she joked to People. “Nothing a little Botox can’t fix.”
Expert Speculation on Additional Treatments
Though Hough has not confirmed other surgeries, some plastic surgeons believe she may have tried more. Dr. Alexander Rifkin told Radar Online that her fuller lips likely came from a small amount of hyaluronic acid filler, such as Vollure. Dr. Frank Agullo suggested she may have used fillers under her eyes and a subtle brow lift with neurotoxins or threads.
Emphasis on Skin Care and Health
Hough credits much of her changing appearance to aging, good skin care, and a healthy lifestyle. In January 2024, she shared on Hello! that she underwent a three-day Morpheus8 treatment. Though it left her undereyes swollen and textured like “sandpaper,” she said it did not hurt. She also told Us Weekly that she prioritizes healthy eating, regular facials, and IV treatments to stay active and feel her best.
