Country singer Jana Kramer, 41, recently spoke candidly about her breast augmentation experience. During a conversation with guest Kristen Brewster on the Whine Down podcast, Kramer revealed why she now has mixed feelings about the surgery.
Brewster had shared her own concerns about considering a breast reduction and augmentation. Kramer reassured her, saying, “I don’t think it’s superficial to want help and gain confidence. You don’t have to… if it’s just something you want, that’s okay.”
Kramer’s Biggest Regret: Questioning If Surgery Was for Herself
Kramer admitted her biggest regret about the procedure: “I don’t know if it’s completely for me. I guess the biggest advice I can give is that it has to be 100 percent right for you.”
She opened up about how her past marriage influenced her decision. “I was in a marriage where my husband was always cheating on me, and I would see the women he cheated on me with and I would think, ‘I don’t look like them at all.’ So when I saw the news, I thought for a moment, like, ‘If my breasts were bigger, he wouldn’t cheat on me or he would find me sexier or something like that.’”
The Physical Changes After Motherhood Motivated Surgery
Kramer also explained that her decision was partly driven by physical changes after having two children. “I had a really bad sag, so some of the parts just never came back. So people see them and go, ‘Oh my god,’ and I feel gross.”
Despite her regrets, Kramer said she is happy with the results now. “Obviously, I love it. I’m happy with them after my divorce,” she said, noting the surgery happened following her split from ex-husband Mike Caussin.
Future Plans: Removing Implants for a More Natural Look
Kramer revealed she is considering removing her implants. “I actually wanted to take my implants out and then have them lifted back up,” she said on the podcast.
“I wanted it to be more natural, not with implants. So when I need to take them out and put them back in, I don’t think I’m going to put them back in,” she added.
