Teresa Giudice is speaking out about her recent plastic surgery.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, who had her second breast augmentation ten years after her first, posted a lengthy post on Instagram about her experience and why she decided to go through with the procedure.
“I believe it is important to always stay strong and be your most confident self. Ten years after my first breast augmentation, I decided to have another breast augmentation,” Teresa wrote.
“I was very nervous about having my breasts reshaped, but I felt it was necessary to feel my best. I encourage anyone who doesn’t feel great to work on feeling better. Even the smallest everyday things, even the things that require plastic surgery to feel better,” she continued.
In November 2018, she told Andy Cohen that she had updated her implants. “They look fuller,” she admitted, though she chose the same size as before. During that late show appearance, she also admitted to having “a little bit” of filler injected into her face.
The surgery wasn’t the only change in Teresa’s life. She separated from her husband, Joe Giudice, whom she married in 1999 and have four daughters: Gia, 19, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10.
Their relationship has been tested over the past few years. First, Teresa went to jail for 11 months in 2015, then Joe served 41 months in prison, which he completed in late 2019. Since Joe never became a U.S. citizen, he subsequently left the U.S. and returned to his native Italy to await deportation proceedings.
