Meghan Trainor recently shared her experience with Botox and the unexpected consequences that followed. In a candid conversation on her podcast Workin’ On It, the singer revealed that after “having too much Botox,” she found herself unable to smile properly.
“I had too much Botox and I need help,” Meghan said with a laugh, speaking alongside her brother and podcast co-host. She admitted to having Botox injections on her forehead but acknowledged that the procedure didn’t go as planned.
Lip Filler Mistake
In addition to the Botox, Trainor also tried lip fillers, a decision she described as a mistake. “Someone used my small lips to convince me that a lip flip would give me a nice flipped upper lip,” she explained. However, the results were far from what she expected. “The first time I’d had that in 30 years — it was totally fake.”
Struggling with the Aftermath
The All About That Bass singer explained the unfortunate side effects she experienced after the Botox procedure. “I couldn’t smile anymore,” she said, attempting to demonstrate. “Look, that’s the biggest I can smile,” she added, noting that her face “hurts” when trying to smile.
Trainor showed a photo of herself posing with a dog at an animal shelter, describing how she looked. “I don’t look happy. I look like I smelled someone’s fart… Somebody help me!” she joked.
Considering Future Cosmetic Procedures
Despite her Botox mishap, Trainor hasn’t ruled out further cosmetic procedures. The singer, who is a mother to two young sons, also mentioned her plans for breast augmentation surgery after giving birth. “Because my mom’s breasts were full and now they’re empty,” she explained. “They’re big, they’re small, they’re big, they’re small.”
Trainor noted that following weight loss, her breasts began to sag, saying, “They started to sag, like baggy bags.”
